This house is nestled in the surrounding Nashville area and will serve as a refuge, providing not only shelter but also access to essential resources like counseling, job training, and support to help survivors transition into stability and independence. Welcome to The Ark Family Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe transitional housing and support services for survivors of domestic violence, stalking, dating violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in Nashville, Tennessee. Our mission is to provide safe housing to survivors of domestic violence as they transition into violence free, self-sufficient lives. Our vision is to see communities become physically, emotionally and socially safe for all. Our values are Courage- we believe in the moral courage to advocate for survivors. Compassion- we believe in being kind and compassionate towards survivors while they are facing difficulties on their journey towards healing; Empowerment-we believe in equipping survivors with the tools they need to make autonomous decisions; and Integrity- we believe in treating survivors with dignity and fairness.
